Can I use my vintage Lomo LC-A with the LC-A Instant Back+ ?

Using the LC-A Instant Back+ with a vintage Lomo LC-A is a snap, and you can be sure your instant photos will turn out with the same excellent, crisp results!

The main difference between using the LC-A Instant Back+ with an original LC-A and using it with an LC-A+ is the MX switch on the bottom of the LC-A+. The original Lomo LC-A does not have this function, which means you must use the advance wheel on the camera to cock the shutter and take a photo on instant film. This is just slightly more difficult as it was not intentionally designed for this purpose.

If the friction between your LC-A and your LC-A Instant Back+ is hampering the movement of your advance wheel, try filing down your LC-A Instant Back+ in the spot where the friction occurs. This will give the advance wheel a little more room to move, and cocking the shutter on your LC-A will be that much easier.

Other than that, it is the same procedure for making your Lomo LC-A back door interchangeable with the LC-A Instant Back+ and Loading the film cartridge and taking photos with the LC-A Instant Back+.
