Hello, and welcome to Lomography Magazine. Could you please introduce yourself to our readers?
Hello, my name is Piyarad Taduk (Nho). I'm a freelance photographer based in Chiang Mai.
How did you get started with film photography?
I started when I was in my first year at university. Actually, I didn't take a lot of photos. At first, I bought a film camera according to the trend of teenagers at that time. Personally, I had taken photos with a digital camera before and I wanted to find new experiences with film photography, so I have used it for a long time now.
How was your experience of using our LomoChrome Purple 2021 Pétillant film? How is it different from other color negative film?
The LomoChrome Purple 2021 Pétillant is completely different from the other color film. The uniqueness of LomoChrome Purple's color that comes out in monochrome is amazing. I'm always wondering how the pictures will turn out.
What was the concept of this photo shoot?
When I took this photo set, it was evening and the light was very good. So I thought that the backlit shots would come out so great with the camera settings. Actually, I thought of another concept at that time, but that day was very overcast. So I waited for another day to have good light. Then I asked the model to wear a ski hat to get that winter vibe plus the evening sun. I thought it might make the photos look more interesting.
Which photo do you like the most and why?
I think it's a photo that's taken in the evening light because it's the only one that I set ISO at 100 to compensate and saw the film's effect.
Do you have any advice for people who want to try the LomoChrome Purple film?
It's for people who like experimental new things and want to challenge themselves. You might come up with an idea for taking cool photos to share with other film lovers.
