Hi Carla, welcome back! As some of our readers might know already, you are not a big fan of color shifting films, yet, you were curious to try the new formula of our LomoChrome Turquoise film. Do you like the results?

Surprisingly, yes! I liked it a lot! I love the orange color shift of the sky in the photos I took.

What features particularly impressed you?

I was impressed that I liked it - I thought I wasn't going to like it at all! I took the photos in a very colorful town in Busan called Gamcheon, as it is a town where all the houses are of different colors. Without a doubt the results are great.

Would you recommend this film more for portraits or landscapes?

Unless you want the people looking like The Smurfs, I think this film is better for landscapes.

What are the challenges of shooting with a color shifting film?

It all depends on your expectations. I didn't feel challenged because I didn't know what the results would be. Because of that, I didn't think too much about the results. In this case I prefer to let the film surprise me.

Which camera did you use for these stunning photos? And do you remember at what ISO you shot?

I used the Minolta SRT100x and the ISO was 200.

Do you have any tips to share with those who will be using this film for the first time?

Yes. Do not have expectations. Let the film surprise you. And of course, use it for landscapes where the sky is involved.

Do you have any interesting projects or collaborations planned?

Yes! And I hope that in 2023 more projects and collaborations will emerge.

Man this is totally rad. Super inspiring stuff. I really like the leaning crates and the shot from inside the souvenir shop. They are both really interestingly framed and make it feel so ancient. Great work on these and big ups to Lomography for finding some real talent.
