You are capturing the world, the aesthetic, the lifestyle which we are gradually losing - well, this is some obvious impression but I can't restrain from putting this in words here - it's very nostalgic. Some may say that people just tend to lament that grass in the past was greener and mountains taller - but looking at all these pieces I definitely feel modern times have less style, less dreams, less aim at all.

@rodiongork Thank you very much for the comment! It is appreciated.
There was once a craftsmanship and a real sense of pride in the things that were built. Currently that doesn’t seem to be quite as important. I am drawn to those old things and places that cause me to reminisce and wonder about how life used to be.
Thanks again for the kind words.

    > and wonder about how life used to be

not directly related, but your words and this image of a forsaken place reminded me song "Hurt" by Johnny Cash I recently found on youtube, where he is very aged and seemingly contemplates his life etc - very touching... Though you probably know it better than I :)

so true! vintage buildings, old-fashioned clothes - there was so much style and thought - and especially old cars (hey, there are some very interesting among your pictures particularly) - so much fantasy, so much diversity... modern "fashions" on contrary make me feel close to crying

@rodiongork hello rodiongork Thanks again for the kind words. That is a touching video by Johnny Cash, you caused me to go back and look at it again, thanks for that, he was an interesting man, the loss of his wife struck him very deeply.
I look forward to seeing more of your great photos of Russia and the portraits you create.
