Taiwan Film Lover Rli's First Impression of Our New LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 Film

Film lover Rli recently moved from Taipei to the city of Taitung on the southeast coast of Taiwan. Even though her living environment has changed, she still takes her beloved film camera to every corner the city to record everything. In this interview she shares her feelings and experience of using our new LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 (35 mm) Film.

Hi Rli, firstly which camera did you use to test our new LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 (35 mm) Film ?

I used an Olympus Trip 35.

Can you tell us about the concept for this shoot?

I moved from Taipei to Taitung in September, 2022. I mainly record my daily life and moments with friends. Sometimes I will also capture the beauty of the natural environment.

How would you describe the look of the LomoChrome Color '92 film?

I like the effect of the film. It has a special retro feeling, a bit cool in colors, and the grain is quite prominant.

What do you think is the perfect situation for shooting this film?

It is suitable for both indoors and outdoors, and the feelings presented are not the same.

How do you feel about a new color negative film being on the market?

I have also shot the other films from Lomography before, and I have always liked the effect presented.

Do you have a favorite photo taken with this film?

I like the obvious contrast of light in this picture, showing different shades from different angles.

What are your future film photography plans or hopes?

Film has become more expensive nowadays. Every time I press the shutter, I will think carefully about what I want to capture. I also think that the film developing process is very fascinating, which is why I want to keep shooting in the future although digital photography is so popular now.
